Good luck to Leinster, but CONNACHT ARE GOIN DOWN, BOY !!

Lol would be comical if Connacht win this leg. I'm expecting Toulouse to come out all guns blazing.

Bugger.........thought game over and went for my tea so missed it having watched a pretty average game (Half USAP/Munster and half Scarletts/ASM) only to miss the exciting denouement to both!!

well they absolutely, undoubtedly, most clearly and definitely *SHOULD*....but will they ??.....
It's the same team that lost at home last week to Connacht...the same psyche, the same lack of true cohesion their "smaller" opponents showed.

Of course Toulouse should win this, at least win it, let alone by a good margin and in convincing terms.........but will they ?!!?!....I'd still bet they would, but I'm not even positive, like...

I can't see us seeing the same Toulouse from last weekend. I'm sure they spent all week doing proper homework on Connacht. Last weekend it seemed like they thought they could get the win by simply turning up.

that's right. And also Connacht played very well themselves, I'm definitely giving them credit for sure too, it clearly wasn't all Toulouse underperforming.
But that may be another issue for the Irish club...not only will Toulouse be pride-stricken and react - perhaps Connacht may not produce such quality Rugby for another 80min ?..

P.S.: apologies for complete off-topic.

Thing is Connacht only scraped a win by playing superbly and Toulouse playing badly. What are the chances Toulouse will play poorly and Connacht will play their best again? We'll know when the 80 minutes are up.

:(

edit. I only just realised this was not the Connacht thread. Sorry.

You've never watched Munster before? They do it every time. Not great rugby, but it works!

The last Perpi try had 2 forward passes. Bad ref.

I'm sorry but Poite bottled that. Burns should have gotten a yellow card: He pushed Tonks over a barrier headfirst onto concrete.
"accidental" or not, that's incredibly dangerous play.

Edit: He's made up for it by binning Morgan for, what should've been, a standard penalty offence.

I've been thinking (and saying [and knowing {and parenthesising}]) that Edinburgh would throw another spanner in the works in this pool. So I'm glad they threw the second Spanner at Gloucester. Really is Munster's pool to lose now.

It would take something special to not qualify now. Munster were ****e in patches yesterday. Our pack is tough as per usual, our set piece solid, good defense but offensively aimless. We really miss Connor Murray giving us go forward in these situations. Cronin is looking veeeeeeeery promising. He's a headcase by reputation though I've heard. He has the hateful stare on him. O'Donnell the prince of Irish rugby as prophesised by yours truly.
JP Doyle is just a **** ref, allowing nothing at the breakdown and handing out yellow cards to the two wrong players for what was just a bit of shoving while on the other side of the pitch punches are being thrown because a rick was cleared out.
Anyway cheers Edinburgh.

Great win, nice to see such a positive reaction to conceding a late score. I'd like to see JJ play 12 from now on, he has all the required attributes to play there and it shouldn't hurt his development as an Outhalf either.

He won't be because they've noone else if Keatley gets injured.

Munster didn't play well but they still beat 16 men and a hostile home crowd. I must add that JP Doyle gave one of the worst reffing performances I have seen. As bad a performance since Poite and Joubert in the world cup final. The crowd were reffing the match!
