Heineken Champions Cup - Round of 16 (1st Leg)

Good game we had there. Thoroughly outclassed first half. Then we were strong second half. Think Exeter will regret only putting five on us. They couldnhav put us out of sight if they'd kicked their points.

Have to say Sandy Park is a great ground and the fans are proper rugby people as well.

Can't say Munster will be too upset on JVG going based on this.
Exeter defence has been big but not really being asked questions.

Been the case for.... ever since he arrived really.

Thinking among many was Felix Jones was the problem*. He left and won the RWC with South Africa.
Then the extremely highly rated Stephen Larkham came in. No change.

The one game JVG was missing due to the covid isolation in SA, Munster put on a great show. Coincidence?

*not muffin to be fair and a few others - rated Jones very highly, very early.

Wow montpollerier must be big stupid. Imagine having the world's best rugby player on the bench for a champions cup knockout match.

You'd think it was being played in a monsoon with the amount of handling errors going on.

Mercer showing why he should've been given more chances with England.

100% knew what he was doing, good attempt at disguising it by Andre though just can't do that stuff on the 5m

Mercer undoubtably the best 8 on the pitch so far, probably player.

21 without having to do a lot in attack unbelievable.

Not playing forward passes today then. The pass that started that try was miles forward.
