Heineken Champions Cup - Rd 1

Feel for Cardiff, they're clearly struggling as the game goes on here. Credit to their fans for being right behind the team all day. This refs breakdown interpretation is awful imo
Very, very proud of the effort. Some of these boys have never played a competitive game for Cardiff. Today wasn't about the result but the effort and occasion.

Great to see DuPont in the flesh he's some player. Shame we couldn't have both first teams play each other.

Slightly worried about Quinn's next week as they will be very physical.

Bath's world famous fantastic defence on show right there. Nobody even attempted to wrap over.

And all the Bath's forwards just standing watching as our scrumhalf tries to do their job for them and clean out the ruck. Lazy shits.

Think that was forward but probably would have been a try anyway if he'd given it to VDF.

Not sure if it's just me with my covid head but it's hard to see quickly the difference between the Leicester and Bordeaux kit, too much white overall.

Absolutely right to be proud! We will be in a similar position tomorrow and whatever about the score homegrown lads coming and playing on the biggest stage in a crisis is great to see.

How has Furlong never been nominated for World player of the year?

You'd think some of the young Bath lads would actually want to play but apparently not.

Someone let me know if Bath get within 15 points of Leinster I'm switching over to Border Beagles vs East Midlands Big Cats

Considering in that half we had without
Montoya, Cole, Wells, Liebenberg, Van Staden, Youngs, Kelly, Moroni, Nadolo, Steward

Really happy.
