Heineken Champions Cup - Rd 1

You have 100% played better. We have really struggled with a lack of consistency and that red card killed us.

I'd also say that the core players for Munster are very good.

But Romain Poite is just madness... The breakdown .... what on earth is going on.
This is it, I honestly don't understand how the Conway try was allowed, you cannot push a player over like that and have it awarded, Munster have without a doubt be the better side but score Line imo flatters them and has been largely helped by poor reffing.

I think we need to hope for Munster replacing a few guys soon and then us benefiting and trying to get a losing bonus point.

The Campbell try was the one i'd query, most of the rest i'm ok with. It's just Poite... he's a cowboy.

Poite slightly in the way for that try but the line was good enough that he would have scored.

Interesting.. Horgan suggests refs stand there quite a lot...

Also saw we tried the sideways catepillar and Poite didn't like it

Also now Babeary, Carr and Oghre all off carrying limps... can't we get a break with knocks.

Wow laying it all on thick the Munster state of affairs here, when wasps are just as bad in terms of personnel missing.

Surely someone should point out to commentators that yes Munster do have a lot of players out but they do have a fully international back line bar one player and only 4 debuts in the pack...

that's really not that bad...

Currently looking for saving graces atm.:D

Really like Josh Hodnett as a player... looks such a talent.
John! I'm also super high on him. I think he will be an international he has all the tools. He would have played for us way more bar long term injuries he's suffered

And his twin brother John! Looks a great talent... really benefited from the loose breakdown but very good player. Out of interest, from the young lads who started as well as Hodnett, what are their chances of breaking in?

Also wish McHenry had played today, would have been a good one for him.

Red card helped but to get a BP win with effectively 14 pro players is phenomenal.

I think lads benefitted from knowing 10 days or so ago the story

Hodnett might not start right away, but he will at some stage. Some of the lads it's tough to know because they're such unknown quantities. Okeke(8), Buckley(2) and Campbell(15) I would expect very big futures from at the very least. Might see Campbell fasttracked now.

Could we borrow them? With a few more injuries we might need to.

only Poite could warn a team able ur accumulated pens then ignore it next entry to the 22, 14 pens with no card is impressive.

Wasps should just pull the plug on the entirety of the season, get some players back and have the longest pre season, work out WTF they are doing to injure players at this point there has to be more to it than bad luck.

I think it's just a case of we went into the seaon with a large amount of injuries, had a few set backs and then lost a few more in the first few weeks.

We just have to keep fighting to get top 8 and Champions Cup. Just have to suck it up and do what we can.
