Wondered what Draggs was on about

Couldn't make it up!
Just the latest in the Sweendog's plan to oust every other Cardiff outside half.
He replace Robinson, sabotaged SNK, ruined Dan Parks' boot, and now gotten rid of Tovey's passport. Patchell had better look out.

Yeah, or Sweeney might turn his hair orange. That'll learn 'im

Sweeney also asked Gavin Henson for some ice on the way back from Glasgow.
His drink a bit warm and Gav was eager to help out his team mates.

Great try for Cardiff - shouldn't have been scored though as Jones knocked it on at the scrum when Michalak tackled him!

Scrums are weird though, Toulon massively on top but getting nothing for it so far due to their sloppy binding and going early a few times.

Masoe's handling is leaving a lot to be desire - ruined a few good chances and an almost certain try with knockons.

Gavin Evans out injured with back spasms. Owen Williams moves into center and Daf Hewitt onto the bench.

And Owen Williams creates the first try. See what happens when the Blues select a better centre than Gavin Evans and Daf Hewitt! Warburton did exceptionally to get that ball away from the scrum.

And Toulon strike back straight away.

Blues are actually playing some decent stuff. Best I've seen them play for a long time tbh.

Owen Williams definitely showing what he can do in the last two games! Patchell having a great game so far too, some really nice touches.

Can we just not bother with the scrums and give a penalty to Toulon every time instead? Pretty much what happens every time.

Toulon have their tails up now.

Edit: I love it when players do a really elaborate dummy/side step and the defender doesn't buy it at all.
Robinson just jumped like 3ft in the air doing a star jump, before carrying on in the same direction and Wilkinson just smashed right in to him. He'd have probably made it past him if he'd have just run straight.

Bastareaud having a great game!

Hewitt pretty much just used the ref as a blocker there!

Edit. Lovely finish by Halfpenny there. Pity the game has been over since half time.

Missed the 2nd half but glad to see we showed at least a bit of fight and finished with a few tries Expected a rout in this one, the gap between them resources wise is just wayy too large for the Blues to come close, but at least there's a few promisng signs.

If the Blues could get a pack together then there would be some hope for the backs.

Sweeney also remarkably has more international caps than both Nicky Robinson and Gavin Henson, despite them being both much better players than him.

Nicky Robinson can count himself unlucky to have only won 13 caps for Wales, especially considering Sweeney won 35. I think Robinson was slightly undderrated for his passing abilities and unfortunate never to fit into any Wales coach's plans, never even as second choice. The Blues missed him after he left far more than they would have anticipated.

He left Wales when he was on top form and may have challenged hard for spot had he stayed in Wales, better than Sweeney for sure, and also apart from his brief 2011 form Priestland as well. I remember he scored a nice try for Wales during their away win to Argentina in 2004.

Robinson was a Jeckle and Hyde type player, he could just go into his shell if the first few minuets went wrong for him. Good player mind, but he was at times fragile. No doubt the Blues missed him, underrated at club level. As for Sweeney, long time he was a good player, the last 5 years he has rapidly gone worse. What's cost Gav is injuries and his 'break' from rugby from winning caps.
