Jesus Christ....

Kinda glad I've got work that day, so I can't attend/watch on TV.
Will see if I can stomach the highlights afterwards.

Toulon really sending a message that they are really taking the Heineken Cup very seriously.

They've selected 100% of their first choice starting lineup for this trip to Salford.

Whereas we can't be arsed:

15.Cameron Shepherd, 14.Mark Jennings, 13.Corne Uys, 12.Johnny Leota, 11.Mark Cueto, 10.Rob Miller, 9.Will Cliff, 1.Ross Harrison, 2.Tommy Taylor, 3.Tony Buckley, 4.Richie Gray, 5.Fraser McKenzie, 6.James Gaskell, 7.David Seymour (capt.), 8.Richie Vernon

Replacements: 16.Tom Cruse, 17.Eifion Lewis-Roberts, 18.Vadim Cobilas, 19.Kearnan Myall, 20.Andy Powell, 21.Nathan Fowles, 22.Danny Cipriani, 23.Charlie Amesbury

I imagine Sheridan will get the typically warm reception to be expected for all returning ex-sharks.

Sale doing really welll.... helped bby an off form Wilko and Toulon team!

Surprised by/happy with that scoreline!
Was a nothing match, really, as we've not got a snowflakes chance in hell of getting anything from this cup - was fully expecting an absolute spanking.

From reading match reports it seems that Seymour outplayed S. Armitage...standard ;)

Young Ross Harrison dealt very well with Carl Hayman.

Very impressive especially considering Harrison had Buckley on the tighthead.

Is Harrison a youngster with a lot of potential or is Hayman just waning?
