Is it me or is this game a poor version of Rugby League withoout the 6 tackle rule played in an almost empty stadium?

I think we have had one line break and other than that is bish bash by one side or the other, kick, penalty, line out and attempts at scrummage?

I think you may have to have connections or real interest in Munster (cannot be anyone interested in Edinburgh as they would be there surely!) to have any enjoyment out of this game....

Edit...must have heard me as post penalty try and yellow card to Laidlaw, intensity up and Munster really performing much better!!

Yes it was!! Shame both sides did not play like that for the whole game.......I presume ROG will be cited for his petulant, but not unusual, kick from behind that started the ruckus....

Right, after this incident in this match, firstly how long do you think O'Gara should be banned for?

And also, if he is banned for a considerable amount of the 6 Nations, then after 128 caps (just 11 from Gregan's record) could we have now seen the last of ROG at international level?

If he is banned for the 6 Nations, then Kidney will be forced to select probably Paddy Jackson as replacement fly half, and then surely even Kidney won't bother taking ROG for the tour to North America where youngsters are likely to be given run outs.

And once Jackson (any other candidates?) has the replacement spot on the bench during the 6 Nations (assuming ROG gets more than a Flood length ban) I expect he will then keep it for the rest of the year with little point in recalling ROG.

ROG will be picked til the day he retires under Kidney simple as that. ROG should get a good ban for that which works for Ireland as Jackson may actually get some game time, probably not though.

Nasty though, what did Flannery get for booting that little French winger (Palisson I think?) down the pitch a few years back? Is it me or does ROG just not seem to care anymore? Things like this suggest that rather than playing for his team, he is prepared to commit fouls like this at the risk of getting carded! Not the type of playing I want near the Ireland squad.

Once again Munster showed they offer nothing in attack. If any team is simply able to make tackles and hold their line, then Munster can't score tries.

He "ONLY" got 6 weeks as it was "reckless rather than deliberate" which means that, as ROG chased him and kicked him with full intent, he must get 6 months...........well 12 weeks anyway!!!!

Apparently it was because ROG said that he was intending to trip not kick Cox, and also because Cox bodychecked him, and according to judge was "out of character" that O'Gara got only 1 week.

As I said rubbish and corrupt....is it any wonder that the French have no faith in the ERC justice system.....it was obvious that O'Gara intended harm and was kicking not tripping in real time and by video.

I am totally appalled that he has received such a light sentence (as per Flood) but hardly surprised.
