HB calls this a partnership?

Oh, I know literally nothing about that, cept he was a priest. I've managed to forget nearly everything I knew about 1798.

Wonderful period of history :) Interestingly he was never know as "father" John, the ***le father only came about during the 1860's would have been known as "Mister" Murphy
Was a toss up between him and John Kelly , However having access to a rare video on his participation and being able to use The memoirs of Myles Byrne as opposed to the little or no sources on John Kelly tipped it in his favour.

Right let me put it this way... Would you rather have all the information now and nothing for the next 4/5 months? or have a bit every week/every other week upto release date?

I know there has been a small amount of communication but its more than you get from most developers, so think yourselves lucky!

We are always in communications with Alastair and the team and know how much they want to release stuff to you, but EVERYTHING needs to be signed off...

Aye, sources are important. Feel free to steal as much from them as you want, I can't imagine a corrector being arsed looking them up

So when might the first screenshots be released?

How long's a piece of string? They can't be released until they are approved by all the relevant parties... so you will get them when they come

hahaha my boss always say's that to us"how long is a piece of string"

Do you work in a string factory?

If he did then it's obviously a pretty poor one - if the boss doesn't know the length of string then it's a shoddy organisation that Lance2010 would be better off leaving well alone!

Possibly. But it mite also be a sort of team morale building exercise. Like the boss says to everyone "How long is a piece of string?" and everyone else says "Too long" or something more clever. Depression amongst employees in the string making industry is reported to be at an all time high and morale boosters like these can really make a big difference. I applaud Lance2010's boss and urge others with managerial positions in the string making industry to act accordingly.

It is an absolute outrage that HB has offered no information on the "upcoming" ***le. Granted, they had given a few minor details such as unlockable game modes, but as avid rugby enthusiasts, us members of TRF should be at the very LEAST given a trailer or a gameplay preview of Rugby 2012. I find the release date less important, but an idea of how the game will be in action is vital to the "partnership" and support of the TRF members. HB has made a mockery of TRF, and I for one want answers.

Having never actually played any Sports Video Games other than "Links" Golf many years ago, I guess I don't know much about sports gaming. However, I do know a bit about business, and particularly about how competitive the Video Gaming industry is.

Perhaps it hasn't occurred to you that since this particular section of TRF is actually publicly viewable (if you log out you can still read it even though it says "members only") then if HB were to publish any details here for "TRF Members" they would effectively be making those details available to the general public, which would necessarily include any potential competitors.

No I'm a forklift operator in a totally different industry,Our boss says that to us as we don't have a set finishing time.We could do 8hrs,12hrs,16hrs and the odd 18hrs a day if we have too.

It's thread isn't it?

Pretty much right there Cooky, but HB do want whatever information we release for them into the gaming section to be available to all. Our gaming section used to be more restricted to members who'd posted 10 or more times in other threads, but it's changed due to this situation.

Personally I am quite sure that information on this game will gradually get more and more steadily available, but we are just in the period of time prior to that information starting to flow. I'm sure that if people are able to just get on with other things in life for a while more, they'll come back into this section at a later date with some information that'll be of significant interest. Right now, no doubt due to various business reasons (of which I could probably speculate half a dozen and still be wrong), HB are not able to release anything further.

The only thing I can say is that, I'd certainly like it if you were able to teach yourself how to play the Rugby games that are currently out (Rugby '06 is probably my favourite). I think you'd find it pretty enjoyable if you've never played team sports video games. If you got into it enough I'd love to play you in the new game when it becomes available. :D

Perhaps they could lock off this particular section to just us TRF members so any potential competitors couldn't read it?

An infiltrator!
Get him!
