Three out of the four semi finalists in the competition are Magners League teams. It's pretty obvious where the power lies in European club rugby ;) [/b]

:D  Yeah, right...

Good point, Charles.

It's clear the balance of power lies with subsidised French clubs. They pay way too much to SH players, who think French is just an accent, for the purpose of winning a league that nobody outside the south of France watches. And the HEC is a joke because international refereeing standards are soooo anti-France.

Genius. A general strike in French rugby is inevitable - in the end, bullshit overstinks perfume.

La Chute: coming to a cinema near you.

-The main goal of every french cub is the T14. Not the HC. The main goal of the Celtic teams is the HC. Not the Mickeymouse Magners League, and they don't take part in a national championship.
- The day all the NH teams play the same number of games in a season, we can compare performances. Right now it's just meaningless. How many games a season play the Magners teams ? Interestingly, on the international scene when all the teams get the same amount of preparation (RWC) I believe Ireland and Wales are way below France and England. What do you make of it ?

Btw, I totally agree the french clubs are hiring to much foreigners, and the T14 is a terrible comp. I'm all for a T10 with one relegation and a bigger focus on the Hcup.

Rugby leagues are best in my opinion with 10 to 12 teams. I think promotion/relegation games between the 2 bottom and 2 top teams in a domestic league would be better.

ok, do you think they're gonna hypnotise Fillipe to make him think it's 2005 and he's playing Munster?

Why should they when he can do this?

part of the reason he was so targeted in the semi-final and really rattled him, hasn't delivered away from home against them either and to all intents and purposes it was an away game 3 years back.

It could well be his last meaningful game for Leinster so here's hoping he pulls one out of the bag, granted a lot of that will be down to the service from Whitaker so I won't hold my breath.

Well played leinster, Defence was awesome!!

Quins are still a work in progress at the moment, but next seasons they should of learnt to take the points when offered,, and we won't have Missed kick Malone either B)

Good luck to Leinster :bravo: :bravo: :bravo: :bravo: :bravo:

 Well my first language English is not. Seriously how much games ?

I thought my sentence wasnn't so bad ...How would you say it then ?

The Magners league has 10 teams who play each other home and away, creating 18 games per season.

They play the 6 matches from their HC groups, then it depends whether they make it to the next round.

The welsh teams have been playing 3 games in the EDF also (with a possibility of another two after that!).

Making it about 24 normal season games for the irish and scottish, and 27 for the welsh. Thats all off the top of my head though...

On the ERC website, good news for Leinster in that they're going to be a top seed for next years Heineken Cup. Congratulations and hopefully a tad easier draw now.

Not listed on the ERC website (I think) but in the Irish times sports supliment there's news that the Evans thing is gonna be investigated by the ERC, don't see anything coming of it though and I think the ERC have siad that it's not bid deal, that they just want to look at some procedural stuff.

About "The Wink".

Maybe I have been listening to Mite for too long, but I predict they will get a one year European ban and London Wasps will conveniently be back in the HEC.[/b]

If that happens then the ERC can go screw themselves
How the hell can you punish Harlequins because their player 'winked', while letting Leicester get away with doing exactly the same, just minus the wink? Ridiculous...

So many teams have done this before and after,, but I fear we may be made an example of,,,

Which of course would allow Wasps back in B) :bleh!: :cryy: :wall:

If the WASPs are back I guess they will replace the Harlequins. According to the rankings a Tier 4 team would be thus replace by a Tier 1 team....
