Jerry Collins signing for Ospreys got me thinking about the hardest hitters in Guiness prem/Magners league.
Who are your nominations for the hardest hitters in NH rugby?

Crazy Canuck Jamie Cudmore... Move the children away!...

PS: I like your avatar, whatamunson...... I reckon you see why...

I would still say Jerry to be honest, even if this season he hasn't delivered any "omfg I think he killed him" tackles, I think he can still produce them.

Coming over to France, I don't think Collins had chosen the right club... :P But you're right in saying he's still a terrible tackler... Out to munch!!! :D

Mafi.[/b]

Noidsay wins. Lifemi Mafi would take my vote, especially because he is tackling guys substantially bigger than him, mostly back row forwards like Chabal.

Impressive player indeed, both defensively and offensively! Hope we see him in Clermont again next season...

Courtney Lawes.

He'll make hits like that in every match he plays. Normally on blindside flankers.

White used to be, not anymore though i wouldnt say. Mafi is a beast of a tackler..

I think White still has a few big hits in him.
There are too many big hitters in the NH, the people you should ask are those that have incurred their wrath.

Agree with Teh Mite on Coutney Lawes, I remember watching that match and thinking 'wow...he'll pack a big hit' when Lawes came on, and a couple of minuites later, he smashes that scrum half... One of the biggest hits I've seen this season.

Though my choice would be Gethin Jenkins, his big hit at the start of Blues vs Toulouse really set the tone for the Blues performance that day.
He's also one of few players who's made a big hit on Tiatia and made him stay down...
His strength is his fitness though, Gethin is fantastic at making high numbers of tackles all over the field for a full 80mins, as well as being a fantastic scrummager.

EDIT: Example = Gethin on Nieto ---> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fHELnn77ohI
