Guinness Pro 12 2014/15: Round 2

Who does the Irish TV matches these days. Still BBC NI, RTE and TG4 doing them?

RTE have no coverage. Serves them right tbh, their coverage was poor and for some reason they were always talking the league down. Baffling considering it was their only rugby outside of the 6N.

Anyway, I'm happy that Sky are covering more games. Between them and TG4 I think were better served.

Interesting to see Crosbie on the bench I do rate him but was hoping to see some of Marsh at this stage.

Also would have liked Conan to at least get a run off the bench.

And of course Luke McGrath starting would be nice.

Still strong enough team overall.

Nice team for this time of year.
But I'd have to say McGrath is at stage he needs to play or move. I know next year he will probably be #1 but going from 3rd (sometimes 4th) to #1 for 1 of best in Europe (and with very little first team time) is madness both for him and Leinster.

Have heard Toner has bulked up a bit too so that'll be interesting to see?

I like it a lot. First home game of the year, can't wait. Have my ticket for the north stand, should be craic.

Just so you know they've gotten rid of one of the big screens, so people in the north stand won't have one to view.

Games played on the pitch innit mon.

Ulster 33 Zebre 13 FT
Edinburgh 13 Connacht 14 FT
Treviso 10 Munster 21 FT
Dragons 15 Ospreys 17 FT

that game was just poor for edinburgh but did feel Connacht came out lucky to win that

Only saw the first half, but Connacht looked the much better team. If they were in anyway clinical they should have had a try or two then.

Good start for the westies though, 2 from 2.

Munster won with CJ and Zebo scoring. Was an OK performance with Zebo's try against run of play. But well a win is a win and next week we home to Zebre (which won't be televised either) and hopefully we can build a bit more. But tonight Treviso could've rattled us and it's good to get a win in a place we've lost the last 2 years.

Someone needs to replace Priestland with the boot he missed everything atm

Leinster looking pretty slick in attack, Kearney carrying last seasons form over too. Defensive line has been weak at times but Scarlets haven't exploited it.

EDIT: Mads having a blinder.

Boooo.

Nasty Irish playing too many youngsters leaving the poor wee regions not able to compete. Not fair.

(and they also read the rool book too - sly bstarts)
