Very strong team. Especially excited by that centre pairing. Fitzgerald on the bench suggests to me that he's the 24th man for Ireland. No update on ZK or Ruddock though. Would hope to see Kelleher get a go in the team during this period but ah well.

how's Te'o been going?

apart from watching him put the bosh on Warburton I've not seen much of him, but he was an exciting player in the other code....

I'm pretty sure he's had less than 120 minutes so there's not much to judge him on. He does look promising though. Should hopefully get a run now.

20 minutes in to the Zebre game and Glasgow have already scored three tries with the makeshift Zebre defence making all sorts of errors under pressure. This has to be a must for a bonus point for Glasgow and then hopefully a cruise to victory. With Glasgow missing so many players themselves away with Scotland they can't afford to miss up an oppertunity like this.

Edit - And at half time it's 33-10 to Glasgow with five tries for the Glaswegians in the first half. Painful viewing if you're a Zebre fan.

Zebre very poor at back, tough conditions but Glasgow have been solid and taken their chances well.

Didn't see this thread. But for anyone wanting to see a good try. Check out Jack O Donoghues try for us last night. Fabulous team try

Newport beat Leinster at RDS, 16-14.
Well, I'll take that...

Well that's embarassing...

Apparently a number of things weren't really going our way such as injuries, knock on's and it being the refs first ever top level game but we really should have done better with the team we had out.

Regardless of who was missing, there really is no way this Newport team should win away in Ireland! Full credit to the guys for their guts.
Wish we could have that second derby game against Cardiff back. Oh well, we can make amends in the ECC QFs.

Thanks Newport!

And Embra. Ulster's position vis a vis the rest of the top 4 looks a lot healthier now.
