I'm new to this site, and would like to talk Rugby, so I don't go stir crazy. I'm too new to figure out where I might find some common interest on here. So, if its all possible, maybe someone from the Pacific Northwest can steer me in the right direction. Otherwise, I guess anywhere there is air, grass, beer, and rugby, I'll find someone I have a common interest with.
About me, I've played over 30 years of rugby, and I started when I was 19, go figure.. I believe my grandson at this point, even thinks I'm a bit nuts.
I'm a tradesman, with a white collar twist, which I'm still confused about. I enjoy just about any kind of humor, and I'm far from stuffy. I always seem to compare life in large part to rugby games.(Nobody gets it, but me) I still love playing & watching American football too, even though a poorly designed sport, it does have its merits.
I'm a fan of the Raiders of 40+ yrs, Boise St. Broncos football, US Eagles +(7's), Santa Rosa RFC, and course, anything my kids are into. They sure put up with enough of my BS. My aspirations are strong for USA rugby lately, due to the Olympic 7's movement. Even though NBC thought it was a failure, I got to watch some exiting College 7's last summer. It was heavenly. Unfortunately, I had no one to share it with, which is exactly why I'm here. End of story..
