Gordon D'arcy to Retire

No link yet but I've a friend in the know who says it should be confirmed in the coming week that he'll retire at the end of the season.

Was a great servant through the years and even a great player for a good number of them. Was also a member of one of the greatest centre partnerships ever but it's about time he retired after 2 years of mediocrity.

I'm glad if he does go not because he's been rubbish lately but because he's had a good career, owes Ireland and Leinster nothing and can get out at a top level on his own terms

This must scare the **** out of O'Driscoll, the only players remaining next year that were in the main starting back line of ireland in 2007 (rwc) is O'Gara and he is a bench warmer

I hope this is true to be honest......never really rated him and he has never had any real competition for his position, so is lucky to have the amount of caps he has for ireland!
