Always thought that Asterix is one of the most comprehensive and finest approach to the French culture and behavior, and not only a primary digest of clichés.

2 best albums in perfect relation today, Asterix at the Olympic games ("brother could not come because he has difficulties to recover from the spanking Mum gave him") and Asterix and the Britons ("We must get that nice game played in Gaul").
