I tried but couldn't find a link to the forum rules, can someone point me to them?

Also, the actual question I had was: is there a limit of time wher you shouldn't reply to a topic anymore? (I'm thinking of replying to a topic that has the last reply about a year ago).

As long as the reply is relevant I can't see any issues with bringing up an old thread - an old thread from 3(?) years ago recently got resurrected, as it was about when Stuart Lancaster got made the England coach full time.
