What date do you finish your leaving Ln7? I finish my junior cert on the 16th(you can see by the amount of time I've spent on this forum I'm working hard) 6 days of two exams a day and boom 18 months off.

Feic do UCD have a Freestyle Olympic Wrestling team... going to give this a shot in Uni as from what I have been told its my sort of game.

The Junior Cert is ridiculous. Seriously, it's the easiest exam you'll ever do, don't even worry if you screw up because it means absolutely nothing.


Anyways, after building my catapult I seem to have gotten a bit of a bug for building crap. Next in my series of misguided experiments is to build a rocket solely out of household materials. This means I gotta make the body and more importantly the fuel from scratch. Could be fun... or I could blow myself up. Oh well.

Myself and one of my mates regularly have playdays where we just build ridiculous things (usually weaponry) Today we made swords for sparring out of PVC piping and insulation foam..
He is pretty nifty at making fireworks , I can get his formula for rockets off him if you want...although one blew up in his face once... and gave him a bit of a burning...



Probably one of the most successful things made. Albeit about 3 years ago

I think he bought it online ..Will ask him tomorrow however..its dodgy heating it up on the hot plate thingy ..it ignited on him and went all mad... Good stuff to make smoke grenades I think also...or that could be something else.

Whats the catapult like got a shot of it in action?

Yeah you can make smoke bombs fairly handily out of it. I think I might just make it myself, not arsed ordering anything off the web at the moment.

As for the catapult, it's not all I hoped it would be. The range is only a few metres at the moment, but I'm going to make a few tweaks over the next few days to see if I can't boost it a bit. I'll post a video then I guess, don't have one at the moment.
