dunno if its been done but i just wanted to see who everyones favourite actor is for me theres only one choice the mighty Al Pacino. the mans work speaks for itself:
The godfather I II & III
...And Justice for All
Any Given Sunday
Heat
Scarface
Ocean's Thirteen
Dog Day Afternoon
The Local Stigmatic
The Insider

i mean come on

My favourite actor has to be Leo DiCaprio.

I always seem to like this guy, not matter what he's in. Even if the film is bad i seem to like Leo (see The Beach).

In terms of male actors, I'm a fan of: Hugh Laurie, Johnny Depp, Toby McGuire, Jake Gyllenhal, Keanu Reeves, Ewan McGregor, Sean Bean, James Stewart, Hugh Grant, Errol Flynn and Harrison Ford. Off the top of my head.

Some may need explaining slightly. Hugh Grant for example, is not massively versatile, but I think he does what he does very well. Ewan McGregor on the other hand is someone I have come to admire in recent years simply for the range of parts he is able to play. The same is true with Johnny Depp.

Harrison Ford, Errol Flynn and Sean Bean seem to have been idols of mine for as long as I can remember, simply because they get given the roles of heroes. Proper men's men. There's probably a gay joke somewhere in there but I know what I mean.

James Stewart was someone originally introduced to me by my Dad, and someone who I orginally disregarded because his films are old and a lot are in black and white. When I grew up though, I realised that he is in actual fact a stunning actor. Certainly up there as one of the greatest ever in my mind.

I find it harder to objectify female actors purely on thier acting skills, for obvious reasons. And perhaps because I don't think women have been able to land as many high profile roles as men. However, some whose talent I have admired down the years include: Olivia De Haviland, Audrey Hepburn, Natalie Portman, Julia Roberts and Virginia McKenna.

personally i like edward norton. he can play the good guy and the bad guy (and sometimes both in the same movie, ala primal fear) very well :)

Also Bruce Willis, DIE HARD!!! lol

they would be two of my favourites.

Tim has reminded me not to look in the present.
If i were to look to the past i am inclined to lean towards Katherine Hepburn (one of the best actresses out there in either comdedic or serious role) and i fecking love Marilyn Monroe. She knew what she was capable of, she knew how to manipulate...she was a clever woman and i love that.
Cary Grant was one of the actors i loved from the golden eras of movies. The man just seemed to burst a personality onto the screen. Undoubtedly awesome.

3 favourite actors are Sean Penn, Christopher Walken and Peter Sellers.

Robert Duvall is brilliant also.

I also vote for Al Pacino. He is definitely the greatest actor. To the list of his great films I'd like to add The Devil's Advocate.
There is a huge amount of excellent actors too. I would like to note Daniel Craig (by the way he is the professional rugby player), Marlon Brando, Edward Norton, John Travolta, Keanu Reeves, Gary Oldman and a lot of others.

Robert De Niro gets my vote. Going from putting on an extra 30-odd pounds to play Al Capone in The Untouchables, to bulking up for playing the baddie in Cape Fear. Absolutely brilliant.

As for the actresses, Jodie Foster just does it for me. Can anyone ever forget her role in the original Silence of the Lambs? Brilliant, absolutely brilliant!

JLOs Ass

As I see J-Lo is one actress and her ass is another. And the second one is more pleasing to all :) [/b][/quote]

Her ass has got a personality of its own in fact her ass is more famous then her

Him and Pacino are the top dogs.

I think of the modern actors Brad Pitt is a cut above the rest...He's always took on decent roles as opposed to the numerous easy money rom-com leads that he must have been offered every single day when he was start out.

Joe Pesci is another one of my favourites. For the limited screen time he dhas had compared to the likes of De Niro/Pacino, he's just awesome. Works very well hand in hand with De Niro and often steals the lime light from him, now that takes talent.

Just watch Raging Bull, Casino and Goodfellas. All stunning movies with Pesci and De Niro, just sit back and witness Pesci steal the show.

And don't forget My Cousin Vinnie
