How can Vincent Clerc be the fastest?

In all honesty, a white man cannot be the fastest.

this is a big thread.

Nigel Walker (Ex Welsh wing and olympic hurdler) holds the fastestofficial time of 10.35s electric timing.

Makes me nostalgic for that jersey, don't know where my old is, would be too small but pretty gutted i have lost it.

Anesi used to be pretty damn quick. ***ch was confident of him racing some of the 100m sprinters back in the Commonwealth Games in 06.

vincent clerc is the faster player in the world the evidence is his hat trick against the irish

wait, according to your theory, Marc Ellis scored 6 tries against the Japs (they're quick lil buggers) so he was the fastest in 1995?
:D :D :D

To put it simply, a white man cannot possibly be the fastest man in rugby.

He was fast but did u see him get smoked by Joe Rokocoko on the outside don't kno what happened to his pace than but still must be up there somewhere.

Someone should fund a competition with all the wingers in the world come together for charity and race and even than we still probably won't know because might be injuries and it'll be who's fastest on that day.

The fastest ever was a player from Brive in the mid 90's , not even international, Sebastien Carrat.

However, he was a former member of the french national 4x100 relay team converted to rugby.

His most famous try came in the sf of the heineken cup in 1997 against Harlequins (???) when he scored from his own 22 with blistering pace.

His technique, defense and kicking were not at the required standard for a top 14 player but his speed was more than compensatings his weaknesses.
But speed isn't everything and was never selected in the french team.

10.68 i think, but this was the schools championship 15 odd years ago. I have seen him owned by Habana a few times.

For straight line running its gota be Habana because he goes full pace when he gets the ball where as other wingers only go full pace if they're out in the open.

what a stupid thing to say, marc ellis wasn't even that quick, yeah he was a winger but he wouldn't be considered in this list. cullen was faster than him and i'm sure jonah was too.

well during the RWC, midweek, they should hold little competitions with heats and finals. fastest player comp, best kicker comp and maybe a benchpress comp? i'd definately tune in to watch it.

1. Lol it was just an accordance to his 'theory'

2. that'll be interesting, somewhat like a 'slam dunk comp' keep things new and exciting?, especially for the real rugby fans, and for bragging rights and will (not indefinate) end any sort of whos the fastest, strongest etc, debate.

Said t once, i will say it again, Tonderai Chavanga is the fastest player in world rugby. End of story.
