Jeff,

I will email you my kitback file. It has renamed subfiles, which means you can import any file with ease. I found if you don't edit them from being all the same name, they just save over the first one only.

Follow Fran's instructions.

Here is what i do, as it can get complex.

- Make a new folder somewhere on your PC.
- Call it 'Wigan' or whatever team you want.

- Open the new folder and make another two new folders and call them Home and Away

- Copy my kitback template into the home and away folders, and also a kit file and a .big file that you know has a similar collar.

- Then rename the kitback templates to the location codes you want (i can send a list to you) and make sure you have them correct for home and away.

- Open up fshED and open the kitback file. Import each kitback image file (you need 22 for a kit) in order from 1-22 and save over the file you are working on.

- Open the .big file with bigGUI and then import the kit.fsh file into the kit.fsh file in the .big file. This saves the changes.

- Find the files in the folders you made and copy them directly to the game directory.

Job done.

I have done this 10 times today as i updated all the teams kitbacks and some other kits.

I am just about to upload the updates i made today to complete the french teams missing kitbacks and also corrected Biarritz away kit colours.

Success!!! I have put in the Wigan logos and miniflags, have changed Russia to Poland and changed logos.

will try a kit tomorrow.

Yes, all graphic should work in 08, although some files may be bunched differently.
 
hi i've been a bit busy but i've started on namibia, its a ***** trying to find a decent sized logo for their world cup jersey as well as the regular eagle logo which was on their jersey as of june this year ah well ill keep on it when ever i get a chance

Btw Fran.. i had a great idea for a patch.

As we are doing patches, graphics, kits and such i figured it'd be a good idea to make an extension patch for Super 14, but replacing them with European clubs. You could play a type of European Challenge League, but with remaining teams from France, Italy, Romania and England.

This means you can have all Top14 clubs, all Guinness Premiership clubs, extra clubs from Italy and one from Romania.

These in my opinion should be..

France: 7
Brive, Montauban, Bayonne, Albi, Auch, Montpellier, Dax.

Italy: 4
Arix Viadana, Overmach Parma, Petrarca Padova, Almaviva Capitolina.

England: 1
Leeds Carnegie

Ireland: 1
Connacht

Romania: 1
Bucuresti

What do you think?

I need to make Treviso's pink away kit soon.

I think it's very possible. I can make the Super 14 a Top 14, with correct fixtures and such, and maybe a random Heineken Cup

PS: You're right, the link doesn't work, my mistake
 
A Top14 patch is a better option.

I can make the 7 clubs kits, some of them are really nice kits for this game.

We can swap over the 7 clubs graphics that are already in, change the club names and make 7 new team rosters.

When making the roster, do not delete or overwrite any french players.

It is much better to overwrite the Super 14's players (who aren't internationals) and i did notice a lot of the players i overwritten in R06 do actually play for the other Top14 teams.

There shouldn't be too much roster editing to do actually.

What do you think Fran, shall we do this?

We shall do it. But I don't understand something. Do I have to make a separate roster for the Top 14, or you want it to be the default one?

Fran, you can do a combined RWC, Guinness Premiership and Heineken Cup roster based on my 06 roster, but rather than update Super 14, we can rename those players for the french players for the other 7 teams.

Most of the players for the 7 french teams in the game will be done and you can just make duplicate team rosters over the super 14's ones.

So, for example you edit Clermont's roster in European Club section.

Then you can take all the players from a Super 14 team, like Crusaders and add all the Clermont players instead.

You will have a Clermont in Super 14 (for a proper league) an also in Euro Clubs for Heineken Cup.

Does that make sense?

If not, i can show you in my 06 roster.

So, you suggest having duplicate teams, right?

I think we can replace 7 Super 14 Teams, hide the remaining 7, and through the xmls we got the same French team both in the Top 14 and the Heineken Cup
 
it wil be wonderful one top 14 but one question if you change all teams in super 14 to french teams you will have in world league french teams in duplicate

No, there won't be any duplicates. We won't replace all the Super 14 teams, just 7 of them, because there are already 7 french teams ingame. The remaining 7 unedited Super 14 teams will be hidden. I'll then modify the xmls to make sure there aren't any duplicates in any tournament
