How come Heidelberg weren't involved at all this time ? Didn't qualify at all, or still angry about last years debacle of them being barred from entering the challenge cup?

They (Heidelberger RK) lost their sponsor (because of being barred, and other politics), so I presume they've gone back to being an amateur club and playing only in the Rugby Bundesliga. They used to dominate there, but now they're only a mid-table team. If a German club is invited to the CS again, it would be a better performing one.

The phenomenon that was HRK is a dead duck.

The red card was later dismissed by EPCR
