Scarlets haven't a hope in this competition though. Soft as a labradoodle when the other team can get fast ball and plough through. They totally overcommit to opposition rucks and Treviso's ball placement was too good for them. Scarlets backs obviously miles better but don't play by the old adage of earning the right to go wide often enough.
Fair cop to Treviso, losing these sort of games narrowly is a step most team take before the results eventually stick and they learn to grind out a win. So much about them today looked sharp and they look really well coached even if the players aren't all there yet. Their young lads were very good kept the Scarlets back row very quiet.
