European Champions Cup 2017/18: Pool 4

I must say the almost constant infringing by Munster at the breakdown and the ref completely ignoring it is ruining this game. Munster can slow down Leicester with impunity by lying all over the ball and half the "turnovers" were not even legal. Leicester do anything and are penalised. I say this as someone who usually wants Tigers to lose but this is ******* farcical.

I've lost all respect for Garces recently, if anything he's got even worse at refereeing the breakdown, and thats from an extremely low baseline.

Munster came in at the side to get turnover, no penalty then immediately penalise T.Youngs from the side! Absolute joke

Did he have a point when he said "how can i come from the side if there was no ruck?"?

Just realised the floppy haired fanny who won the Oscar earlier is the openside!
They, with the stander clip above, what the hell is going on down there? Have they no shame?
Munster forwards, and South African forwards, are supposed to be tough as old boots but now they're all bunch of footballers

Shower of whiny fuckers lads jesus would you grow up. So predictable now.
Grand game. Leicester offered nothing outside of the maul, but last year showed what a different team they'll be at home.

Well as I can see lads here having a go at antics here. But must say fair play to Tom Youngs who seemed to acknowledge what he did was wrong in dressing room after cracking a joke too how he knew Garces had forgotten his yellow.
A real nice guy I've always been a fan of and spoke very well considering his life outside rugby.
On the game obviously delighted with the BP. I though Marshall had his best ever game for us and Cloete arrived in style with numerous turnovers. Leicester weren't that bad and had they got 1 of the few early back moves it would have been a tight game. Weather was crazy and icy. I think our backrow now looks balanced.
Next week will be tough and I'd happily take an LBP now if offered.

Also Tigs. I'v great respect for Dan Cole but looking at him tonight reminded me of John Hayes in latter years for us. He is some man to stay going but is a slight liability now. What is the situation at 3 coming through?

if i want to blame the ref i shall blame the ref as is tradition in any tigers loss. AlthoughMary Berry would have done a better job at judging the turnovers.

3 ermmmmmmm Betts been doing well in the A league and at students on loan, I think they are still trying to bulk him up a bit for senior rugby though.

outside that it's hard to say injuries are ******* us in the front row with Genge, Bateman and Cilliers all injured and Rizzo just getting back we are having to play back up 3 (who has just come back) Logo at 1.

Yeah. Just it very hard to ser Cole last too long more. As I said Hayes was a liability for us in the end due to father time and it wasn't as much exposed as the Pro14 isn't as vital at scrums as say English league.
Must say I was impressed with Thacker when he came on

Don't disagree.

Think TPN is able to play next week too so not sure what will happen.

Yeah like I'd be under no false confidence next week. Tigers will be better next week. And I think tonight they struggled more to adapt to temperatures which happens. I was impressed with their back moves though. Very innovative it was just final pass wasn't sticking

Sums them up pretty much. :D

True but to be fair. I know Youngs should possibly have got yellow but equally the breakdown descended in to a free for all and we arguably got the big rub of the green here. Cloete really was terrific then too but overall we got a few soft pens that had it being a guy like Wayne Barnes they wouldn't have been given

You're allowed blame the ref because you called it in advance. No bandwagon if allowed.
