European Champions Cup 2017/18: Pool 4

With adapting think of it like this, have you seen that thing where you have the colours written out but the colour of the word is different to the word itself? Eg "blue" written in red. Most people can adapt to read the colour of the word rather than the word itself but it takes time and you still can't do it as quickly as just reading the word. Likewise if there is a difference between how breakdowns are reffed in the Aviva and the Pro14/Top14 and European games then it's like asking the Pro14/Top14 to read the word and the Aviva clubs to say what colour the word is written in. You can adapt all you want but actions that require you to go against what is natural to you is more difficult than just doing what is natural.

So with English clubs competing less, would that be a cause of different breakdown attitudes or a symptom of it?
True but like Pro14 adapt to French refs and do it quite well. And I feel the scrum is big difference in how it is reffed but we adapt.

Cynic in me says if that was a white player hitting Cloete in the exact same way it wouldn't be looked at TBH.

Pacific islanders are known for going for big hits. If you're going to do that you better be accurate.

Oh there loads here. Have had the day here after being to stadium.
It's a very odd stadium but on plus side I'm fooked after Arc De Triumph climb

yeah it's a concert hall. And Racing are not really a rugby club either. They're a Swiss pension home for pre-retired rugby players.

If they turn up like that I'd be happy. Also didn't realise Casey Laulala took over from ROG there.

Don't remember them ever turning up differently. Hope Munster put a cricket score on the tinsel tossers.

Racing off to a rapid start, Munster need to find a way to slow their ball down somehow

Edit: Feel they've had a couple of penalties against them where Racing have got away with identical offences though

This stadium is so weird, I like it.
Someone needs to confiscate that trumpet though, so annoying.

The Munster of old could get a 3-0 lead and then shut the game out for 79mins from there
They've absolutely **** the bed since taking the lead at 75mins, a proper comedy of errors

Guarantees us the that top 2 seed, probably number 1. Munster should have got the win, could be costly in a search for a home QF.
