EOYT: Ireland v South Africa, 11/10/2012

Zebo you've done better than I thought you would, fair play but would you ever learn to pass the ****ing ball?

That was ridiculously stupid by Heaslip, he should have booted it to the corner.

From a free kick outside your 22? Completely the right call.

Hitler stache for someone.

**** game, Wayne Barnes is a poes. SA played kak.

Empty victory. Good game Irish bro's.

It was ROG who kicked it. This was not worth staying up till 3am to watch I can't f*cking believe we're still this sh*t and Declen Kidney and his awful game plan are still in place.

It was the right call to run the ball from his own 22, good man.

We need our linebreakers back.

Very dubious statistic shown that we only made 60 tackles compared to S.A.'s 100.

Now our worst losing streak of theis century yay.

Read my post again it was outside it was just short of out own 10m line. Good man.

From today so far I'm yet to find out anything particularly great about Northern Hem rugby. Sure England did alright but Fiji were a joke really. Take one for the team, France?

It was at the 22, even it was a the 10m line he should have kicked it as close to SA's goalline as possible, Ireland could barely make 5m when they had the ball in the second half. Completely brainless, Sexton should be Captain.

Congratulations to South Africa on their win. It would be wrong of me to suggest South Africa played well in doing so. They were the better of two bad teams today.

Mike McCarthy had an excellent game. Happy for Richardt Strauss, Dave Kilcoyne, Michael Bent and Iain Henderson on their first caps.

Ronan O'Gara is a joke at club level and is a joke at international level. Time to hang up the boots at the end of the season. That was a crazy decision at the end of the game.

Another "positive" is if Ireland lose against Argentina, Declan Kidney can't possible hold onto his job. There was absolutely no innovation again. Les Kiss is a defence coach, not an attack coach. Gert Smal is living off his reputation alone. Anthony Foley is an imposter.

No it wasn't and you can't kick it straight out from a free kick. Would have been giving them ball in an attacking position. Could have chosen a scrum but there's a high risk of a penalty. Their forwards were still sucked into the area and he got go forward ball allowing us to go wide. It's not his fault Zebo knocked on. Why are we even arguing over this overall pretty tivial matter.

I wish Kidney would have the dignity to resign for the sake of Irish rugby - instead of hanging in there until someone else has to sack him.

I'd argue with Ghandi now if I could, not a happy camper. Now I have to study for 3 feckin hours in a bad mood. Ok positives, Bent held up the scrums, McCarthy and Henry had good games. Zebo was ok for his first cap, Henderson single handley stalled a Bok maul, I'm ridiculously handsome and clever, feeling a bit better now.

He's going to get a free pass from the Irish rugby media again. The injury list will be trotted out as an excuse. Yes it's a factor but it doesn't excuse a complete lack of innovation once again. Ireland are a shambles under Kidney in sharp contrast to the provinces under Schmidt, Anscombe, Penney and Elwood.

Didn't realise that was Zebo's first cap. He looked pretty good, showed a bit of spark.

Ok game for the neutrals - there was a sense of inevitability that the buffer Ireland had at half time was never going to be enough to stop SA.

Not a vintage game by any strecth of the imagination but glad for the win against a very plucky Irish side (who've had our number the last while) even if maybe some lack of leadership showed. Thanks for hosting, lads and lets hope both teams pick it up a bit from here on out.
