England Six Nations Squad 2025

I think the Telegraph is suggesting Slade and Chessum have been dropped from the 23.
With Martin out and only Coles as other lock in the squad(?) Then no way he drops Chessum without A damn good reason.

He has played great and improved the team when ever he's on and without Martin who else is there to cover

Who even ******* cares at this point 😶
If anyone has the telephone number that will get me the part-time attack coach job while taking selfies with my dick out in Southern France: I'll give you my cat (she's great I promise and not at all deaf or real loud and annoying.)

(NOT AT ALL.)

Slade for Daly possibly at 13 but Chessum isn't being dropped.

Can't see there being many changes.

I assume neither of those cannon parts are to do with the aim.

It would be very out of character for Steve. Usually the unworkable idea is persisted with for too long.

Best bet (IMO) is that Marcus at FB releases Silly Bugger from feeling the need for a 2nd distributor in the centres.
Daly in for Slade (probably at 13, with OL to 12); maybe alongside a 5:3 bench.

Richardson caught wind of that, finds it too confusing, and goes to print; desperate to break the story rather than sobering up first.

Chessum is playing if fit.

But relying on Martin and Chessum to both be fit seems to be a silly thing. They both seem very injury prone or unlucky.

It seems more like England keeps rushing them in since there is no option and then play them to the ground and repeat.

Martin played 22 games last season and 13 so far this season. Last season he played 14 games for England and only 8 for Tigers, and so far this season it's 7 for Tigers and 8 for England
Chessum last season played 27 games 14 for England and 13 for Tigers, this season he is on 8

Just seems like England are desperate for locks and have to play them as soon as they are over 50% fit

Didn't his first kick go straight into touch?

Amongst other mistakes, yes.

It is, however, a contractual obligation for DalyFans (like OnlyFans, but for Daly) to point out that he has a siege gun boot every time he is mentioned. It means he can miss the ball a very long way.

I'd not actually be against Daly at OC. His try v France certainly wasn't a sprint finish in the corner and we could still have* pace outside him.

* waste

I'm not going to get worked up by these rumours in the Torygraph until we know if they're actually true, or just the delusional ramblings of a madman (and to be clear, Richardson IS a delusional madman)
I'm guessing based on their podcast that actually the journalists get to go to Pennyhill park (they mentioned a visit there at the end of the Telegraph pod) and given a team often functions as they would on game day in the build up it's not usually difficult to guess the actual team to be named.

However, if Slade wasn't in attendance it's very possible that Daly was running at 15 and the Smith' in the centres as "cover"?

Just guessing here mind, but it might add some logic to the situation, we'll see later today what the actual outcome is

Marcus Smith being dropped is the main headline on back page of the Telegraph's print edition today. Will be quire amusing if they have got it wrong after splashing on it

…..and after Sinfield publicly saying a few days ago that it was an experiment worth persevering with.

Surely we're not about to see SB fall out with another of his coaching team.

I've always resonated with England fans hating Daly ever since he pushed Garry Ringrose and mouthed off at him because Gentle Garry AVOIDED hitting him in a prone position at 4.25 of this video.

Hope he loses the game for ye this weekend.
