Well if he wanted to wind up the Celts that is pretty much spot on how to do it. As a statement though it's stupid coming from a guy who has selected blatant mercenaries in the squad. Any squad with Teo, Hughes and Shields in it cannot point the finger.

Using the Scottish born son of a Scottish international who plays for a club much closer to Edinburgh than London maybe isn't the strongest example. There are loads of internationals; if someone's good enough, cap them, if they're not, who really cares? (c) NZRU / Shields.

But at least the Samoan born Tuilagi is on track for a return against the country of his coach's birth.

Personally, I want to see us give them a good hiding. They're out of sorts this year and we should be looking to rub salt in.
