His club would rather play Kvesic there, yet people think he should start there for England?

As a chiefs fan...i dont want Armand at 8 for england, nor wilson tbh. Wilson would be my 3rd choice at 6.

Yeah, I'm a big Wilson fan but in the England set up he's a 6

It's always worth remembering Eddies track record - he will shoe horn whoever is next in line in to Binny's shoes. Wilson doesn't play that game and to make him run into brick walls for 80 mins does a disservice to his skill set

They are the same age but EJ chose to take J Hill rather than Skinner so he prob feels he doesnt have a chance for england.

Not selecting Skinner in arguably the most competitive position in the squad isn't the same as not rating him.

He took a little longer to break through in to the first team at Exeter which is probably why he's been behind his peers of the same age.

Ha! You're not the only one. I'm just fearing the worst.

Kvesic and Curry have the exact skill set of a number 7. The fact that Kvesic can play 6/7/8 is not disservice to him. He's had that skillset for a long time. And still only 26. I'm sure we wanted him in the squad 4 years ago.

7. Curry, Kvesic
8. Morgan, Mercer

Apart from Billy I really think these 6 players are who we should be picking even if we had a fully fit squad. And Simmonds too.

Another possible knock on effect from the absence of Binny and Hughes might be the automatic recall of Manu as brick wall basher in chief. As 12? In which case Faz goes to 10.....

All bets really are off at the moment.

Manu hasn't really ever played 12 though has he? I've no problem with it, but I'm no expert in the nuances of defending at 12/13. Could pick Williams at 12 though if we wan't a proper IC.

Possibly?! Just remember him being a 13 before the years of injuries and a 13 now. Quite possibly. I'm not against it. A fully fit Manu would be a bonus

On the plus side Loz has ensured that at least one Saracen will be available by getting himself banned for a couple of weeks.
