Wasps and England back-row forward Joe Worsley has retired at the age of 34 due to a neck injury.

Jokes aside, it's always a shame to see someone have to retire through injury - despite being a fairly limited player he always gave 100% when on the pitch, whether for England or for Wasps
Wish him well in whatever he goes on to do
 
Worsley was hyped up as Hill's replacement when he was younger but never lived up to it

a tackling machine and when given that role in the side he excelled, like in the 2007 World Cup and back when Wasps were winning trophies when he cut down runners, but one would struggle to find many highlights of him in attack

he can be happy that he can retire with 78 caps, a Lions tour (only was selected due to Wasps coaching bias) and 2 Heineken Cups though
