All three series contenders are through to the semis, though Fiji and South Africa clash - meaning one of those will drop out of the race clearly. Money is on Fiji, the Blitzbok are having a mare of a comp without Cecil imho.

NZ have England to contend with, though to be honest if Fiji get through to the semis then they have the ***le for 2014/2015.

Have Japan lost their permanent place for 2015/2016? Don't have the table to hand but had a notion that they needed a result to ensure involvement next season.

Congrats to Scotland downing England, is that a warm glow up north :)

Can't see us getting past NZ to be honest, even with home advantage (though I don't think that means as much in 7s).

Forgot to mention, congrats to England on qualification for the Olympics!

USA killing it in the cup final, Mike Friday has been doing wonders for them.
Individually they are very strong and they are clearly very well coached now - if they continue improving as they have in the last 2-3 years, I could see them consistently challenging for Cups.

Wow what a day of upsets.

England trip up New Zealand, Australia smack the Fijians, and the Yanks take out their first comp!

Congrats to both Fiji, 2014/2015 World Series Champs, and U.S.A, London Champions.

Have a feeling rugby is about to explode in North America if the 7s team can make a good fist of it in Rio.
