England A vs Ireland A - 23/02/25

Bit disappointed by the starting tight 5 - wouldn't necessarily say they were bad but not good
Scrum mostly beaten, lineout shaky - Langdon strong in the loose but set piece comes first

It's an A game and you're more than a score up, just chuck it about - pick and goes there were just destined to be held up

I really doubt that
Blackett and Vesty would suffer the same fate
Don't get me wrong I fully understand it's about the collective.. the tactics the head coach wants play etc ...but seemingly a few days together and the A lads are playing a style of rugby and organisation that ive not seen from the Seniors in an age. The attack coach plays a big part in that.

I hope I'm proven wrong as they develop. But as someone who was a staunch defender of this coaching team I'm finding myself moving quite the opposite now....

Kenningham (in fact, the whole back row) were very good. Hendy looked as lively as ever. Haffar seemed to add some real impact (white line fever notwithstanding.)

Porter put his hand up for full honours with a spectacular 'straight up' box kick despite a strong following wind.

A good win, showing some attacking skills, in dreadful conditions.

And that step by Fisilau...

The Rugbypass website is terrible, took me about 10 minutes to log in, then every 5 minutes I'm getting booted back to the login screen.

It's almost like they WANT rugby to fail.

Quins could provide Porter and Friday soon for 9.

What a great interview by Blackett... refreshing...
