Three games were played today in what might be the most interesting European nations cup in past 5 years.

Romania hosted Georgia in Bucharest. while Spain and Portugal settled their differences in Iberia. lastly Russia hosting Ukraine at home.

to my surprise all three games turned out to be exciting. I only watched the game in Bucharest if anyone knows what happened in the other games you are welcome to post here.

the results were as follows

Russia 38 - 19 Ukraine

Portugal 23 - 17 Spain

Romania 13 - 19 Georgia

As far as the last game goes this video sums it all up

Ok without any jokes.. It was a very close and very tense game for full 90! minutes.

Oaks scored first try early and won the first half by four points 10-6

Second half was a thriller!! Romanians were sin-bnined twice(the same player) Georgians were sin-bined once in the first half and on the 62nd minute Vito kolelishvili(Clermont) was red carded. there were plenty of injuries on both teams. Gorgodze, Sharikadze and Dumitras were taken off. the last 10 minutes were spent contesting a Romanian 5 meter scrum against 7 forwards until our sub fly half Malaguradze came on to stand at the 8th man. Romanians were Virtually millimeters away from victory but Georgian defense was perfect.
Credit to Oaks they played very well tonight.

Antim cup goes to Tbilisi. Next game for Georgia is in Tbilisi against Russia at the same time Spain will host Romania, the winner will pretty much be decided after those games.

I don't want to be a moaner, but I've seen that match and refereeing was very very bad. In the last 15 minutes that Romania spent on the Lelo Tryline there were at least 4 penalties that should have ended in a penalty try. From what I've seen from my angle in the stands, the action went like this:

5m lineout for the oaks -> collapsed maul -> scrum -> one of the 3 quarters was offside ->scrum again -> collapsed scrum -> scrum again -> off the feet at ruck.

But then again, Georgia was far superior on the drive, they seemed impossible to stop. I think they would have made a big score if they decided to kick it less... Lelo #9 MOTM IMO

Ukraine was major surprise for me in last two matchdays.
Scoring 19 points to Russia rang the bell first... This only says some and then bang... They've beat Portugal. The team that is pretty uncomfortable even for Lelos and Oaks.

Just wow.

Can't find the video for the game though. Would love to watch the match. 32:33 until last minute and then hosts scored the penalty. Tight game

How is Spain doing so well? Are the squads from the other countries just missing too many of their top flight players?

Yes they are and also Spain has 20 new naturalized players form french leagues. so last years spain team is now actually their reserve side.... that pretty much wraps it up

Highlights Georgia 46-0 Russia

Wow nice show by Ukraine This actually makes them one of the few promoted sides to win a game in ENC I'm glad they are getting better. The style of their game reminds me that of Georgia from twenty years ago. I hope seeing Ukraine in division A1 will be a common thing in the coming years... I think they are good enough to overcome lower league opposition easily. Even though i heard Belgium were making a good progress too.

Yes, Belgium is increasing its level year after year, the team is young and have a big potential ...but the gap between ENC division 1b and 1a is quite huge !
The only objective will be to avoid relegation but it's already quite a big one. Anyway, we'll see.
First of all let's drink some beers and enjoy our qualification at such a high level!

Could someone post all the ENC results this year and the current league table.

Also where could I go to watch ENC matches?
