He's right but some of the things he's said are just plain stupid.

He is correct in his beliefs, but his methods for telling the world are completely uncalled for.

Sour grapes.

Agreed.

If any Manu player had to complain it should've been Paul Williams.

You'd think that someone that was well qualified would be able to elaborate appropriately and find justice by other means.

I bet he made you eat your words how he played against SA eh Sam.

I think the fact he is qualified solicitor soon to be a barrister has a lot to do with it. IMO he doesnt feel Samoa could get any response throough official channels and has taken it upon himself to be the fall guy. Many of his grievances are not knew and get raised every four years with usual lip service from IRB about arresting problems with developing rugby nations. Then things die down after the cup and its only when another world cup arrives the problems reach the public domain.

This

I lost all respect when he started retweeting homophobic remarks and abuse and death threats about Nigel Owens, before hiding behind "Hey, I'm just retweeting them, I'm not saying I agree!" and then deleting them afterwards

Used to like him before the WC as well, played very well for Gloucester last season

He's an idiot. His comments are uncalled for, imature and offensive. Of all the stupid call the IRB has made, I can accept this one.

Everyone knows Samoa were dealt a bad deal with the game schedualing, but his comments about that were so dumb. His attack on Nigel Owens was just pathetic and totally disgraceful. Owen's had a poor game, but calling him a racist based on him making a few bad calls against your team, in a game, is one of the cheapest and unclassy things to do. He liked to think of himself as some kind of freedom fighter, but in reality he's just a joke.

Why is that article ***led 'Banned England RWC Player'? He just plays in England, that's misleading to get more hits I assume.

They also say he plys his trade at Floucester

Have they never heard of proof reading?
Or at least using a spell checker?

You mean these words, because this is my only post about Sapolu prior to seein Sapolu play lol. I think you need to check your facts uce lol. Crack up hahaha

No, Pisi hasnt has he...I havent seen this Sapolu (maybe Im not sure of which one he is) so give the guy a go I say. George Pisi has had enough games to show his worth and he's been pretty quiet for a centre and you cant have that. George take a seat, roll on Sapolu.

He's got a whole deck of victim cards. He's acting like a total brainless moron.

He's correct to reprint, laugh at, and agree with death threats and homophobic abuse directed at refs?

Really?

Or am I perhaps misunderstanding you. Those seem to be his beliefs though.

The ban is correct and I see no reason to lift it for a couple of years. He's an utter tool.

I think Gavin meant (or at least, what I took him to mean, and agreed with) is that he was right about Tier 2 nations etc. getting crap rest times and the such - not his views on OWens

He was out of order in what he remarked personally about Nigel and he was pathetic to use the holocaust in his tweet after Samoa's short turnaround.

With a rant like he has done, what was he trying to accomplish? There are many ways to skin a cat, but he butchered it!

Maybe with some tact it would've gotten a better response, but the way he was trying to get his message through he made more people angry than simpathetic! But if he wanted simpathy he should take a page out of the Namibians's book... All that he has done is to become public rugby enemy number 1...

Turns out his IP address is the same as Bail's...

Could/should be better phrased given everything that's come out of EFS' gob.

Meant it like this: He is correct in his beliefs, but his methods for telling the world are completely uncalled for

He is correct in his beliefs -
his beliefs of Tier 2 nations being put down etc. is completely correct and unfair

but his methods for telling the world are completely uncalled for - his methods of how he voiced his beliefs was completely uncalled for

Yeah I'm with Gavin. He has a bunch of valid points, but the way he expressed them was out of line. I'd expect more from somebody in the legal profession to be honest.
