Edinburgh Rugby have strengthen their front row options ahead of the biggest game of their history, with the signing of former Argentina prop Ulises Gamboa.

The 36 year old will move to Murrayfield from Aironi till the end of the season, where he has importantly not featured in their European campaign this season.

Edinburgh Head Coach Michael Bradley believes the former Puma will provide valuable support in the build-up to the crucial Heineken Cup quarter-final against Toulouse at Murrayfield on Saturday, 7 April and for the rest of the season.
"Ulises is a prop of considerable experience, having been capped for one of the set-piece powerhouses of world rugby.

"Edinburgh Rugby provide more players [nine] to the Scotland national team than any other club and, while it's great for the players, the club and its fans to have such strong international representation, the availability of Ulises is welcomed at a time where we look to reach a place in the RaboDirect Pro12 that reflects our performances in the Heineken Cup." said Bradley

Gamboa, who has been capped eight times for Argentina, is available for Edinburgh's home match against Ospreys on Friday and will also be added to the squad for the
Heineken Cup quarter-final against Toulouse in April.

Depends on who you support. If Ospreys, well then you woulf say it was a brilliant try.

If Edinburgh, you would say "Oh FFS Paterson, Amarasino (sp) did exactly the same thing against you in the world cup, you have been a great servant for Scottish rugby, but please you are a liability now.

And Visser's idea of catching the player was to run straight into Mossy. Didn't even bother to catch him"

That was such a bullcrap game. Only difference between it an the Sco/ Eng game was that World Class Phil botched kicks almost straight in front of goal. In the 22 as well.

But no, seriously, if Paterson can't kick for posts anymore, and needs to stretch after doing a 22 restart, he really should stop altogether.
