I'm thinking of buying a drone and was just wondering if anyone has any experience with them? It doesn't need to be fancy, just simple to use with a decent camera and good stability and battery life. I have seen some on Amazon in the £200 range and was wondering if it's one of those things where you can get away with something at the cheap end or if the quality is so much worse it's just not worth it and you go for something more expensive?

This will be interesting to follow. Not got a drone myself but in my experience you get what you pay for and make sure there's a decent warranty in case it spacks out. If you want good video are you looking for 4K HDR? Or happy with big standard 1080p?

But yep wise to steer clear of anything under say £100.

Friend in Scotland has one for sheparding, I think it's a mavic pro and he's very happy with it

Edit - just seen the cost of a new mavic
But do see them also on ebay refurbed
