Thank you. I've never really sat down to watch a game. Might just have a look.
Yeah same goes for One Day and T20 games. If it is not being shown on Sky the club generally has a live streaming service of some kind I wish it was shouted about more and had a more centralised service through the ECB.

I'll watch ODI's, but I refuse to watch T20. The Long Format has always been my favourite.

Well the one day tournament has been downgraded due to The Hundred being played at the same time. I personally love all formats but don't watch The 100 out of philosophical and marketing perspective. Apart from promoting the womens game I don't think it actually succeeds in anything it is trying to achieve without better support for marketing of the T20Blast.

Honurs even, feel for Jimmy he's bowling great (look at economy rate) just can't seam to buy a wicket.

Need to bowle them out in first 30mins and one of our guys goes for a good score rather than just starts like Australia got.

I'm just following online, but 78 behind with 8 wickets standing and 2 well set batsmen. Plenty of time in the game.

It would be unforgivable to b0llox it up from here.

Weekend forecast is poor. we'll want to get to 200 runs ahead sometime tomorrow morning and declare. Need time to bowl them out.

Fair point, hadn't seen that and we have to win.

But we now have a lead and it would be a complete cock up not to put a properly intimidating total on the board. From here, and especially if the weather's iffy, we should only be thinking about having to bat once.

Crawley misses out on double ton. Next batsmen in have been sitting around a long time, which is always a risk. Lets hope we can properly build on this.

Root goes quickly afterwards. That's frustrating, but quite often happens after a big partnership is broken.

I think we can call that England's day.

Ali at 3 will probably be here to stay until Pope is back he definitely did a job.

If the weekend is a weather doubt what kind of numbers would you expect England to be declaring at?

Its time more than anything else. England will want to bowling by the afternoon (4 overs before lunch), although new ball in 8 overs may have more of a say. So about 200 ahead

You the have two session to bowl at them you want to get them to 6-7 down by close and take the rest out in tricky conditions the next couple of days.

Theoretically you may have to bat again (assuming Australia stick to the old rate of ~100 runs per session) but you should be looking at polishing off 100 runs or less in the final innings.

But the important thing is giving yourself time to take the wickets than worrying about how many runs you have to chase down.
