Couple of RWC previews up online now

and what... you can't type out some info on your Tapatalk enabled iPhone? ;)

go on give us a few morsels of info to keep us from going hungry waiting until Sat/Sun... c'mon, purtty please?

Doesn't need to be indepth - was their viable forward play, did you like the controls, opinion on the ruck mechanics, did you play against the AI at all and if so were they any good at playing rugby? (just a few thoughts)
 
On the harder difficulties the AI is generally better at shutting down holes in the defensive line.
I find myself playing with a team like South Africa and still finding it a challenge to beat a team like Japan.

On the flip side, try winning a game with the likes of Namibia against New Zealand - Might even be an Achievement/Trophy tied to that sort of thing.

Excellent to hear the AI can defend well!

However, how is the AI on attack on Hard? I am assuming they are pretty good when you say it is difficuilt to defeat Japan with South Africa!

This is a big issue for me as well. I hope the A.I. can score a lot of points against u on the harder difficulties. Previous titles, it was just as easy shut out the A.I. on hard than it was on easy mode, once u got used to defending.

(If it hasn't changed much, there's always online mode I suppose)

It seemed to me that the reviewers were pretty impressed by the improvements, I guess anything to take a shot at the game and rationalize that you are only willing to shell out cash for Rugby Challenge or no game at all.

I can't wait until the reviews come out and people who are fanboys selectively choose only the reviews that agree with their pre-conceptions about either game.
