Connacht vs Munster

Zebo is in Cork and used to play for CBC.
I not sure of his roots but his father qualified to sprint for the Olympics with France but not 100% sure if father is french or african.

His sister run's for Ireland in the 400m and Zebo himself is a bit of a model too.

And lads after watching game again Nick Williams was really awesome.

He didn't play for CBC, he played for PBC...

i don't think he has any irish blood in him. on his bebo page he says himself that he was born in paris so im guessing half white french and half french african??

oops i didnt read the thread properly sorry. he's probably afrofrench/irish :p

Simon Zebo seems to be a good prospect but I would not like to see him wear the Green jersey or the Munster one if he hasn't got irish blood. You're birth place or the place where you live should not give you a nationality! it's all about the blood. If he's half Irish by blood or got Irish blood there's no problem.

Irish born, Irish parent. Zebo's Irish. Nobody's making an issue of his nationality.

Do you object to Jim Williams, John Langford, Trevor Halstead, Rua Tipoki, Paul Warwick, Doug Howlett and Lifeimi Mafi (among others) wearing the red of Munster? None have Irish blood.

I with Snoop there why should he be stopped wearing a jersey he's entitled to.
Like Munster would be last with input of foreign players because they offer so much off the pitch as well as on it.
And same would apply to Leinster, Connacht and Ulster.

It such a stupid comment.
And Roscommon guy I presume you support Connacht but even Connacht use foreign players and well bet ye wouldn't reject Warwick if he returned to Connacht.

Like they also have major influence I remember Jamie Heaslip saying his learning from Rocky Elsom has made him a much better player,
Same here Doug Howlett get praise all the time for what he passes on to Munster backs and well even Jonny Sexton I remember praising Contepomi's input into his career and well list of examples can go on.

And Zebo is as worthy of the Green Jersey as anyone else and if he earns it he 100% deserves it as he IS Irish.

What a loada rubbish! Zebo's as Irish as Guinness. And it's not the only quality he shares with Guinness....

Well lads on serious side: Zebo is flying in training and is expected to see game-time against Ospreys.
Keith Earls, Doug Howlett and Ian Dowling aren't is squad but will be fit for Sunday week.
Paul O'Connell though is a MAJOR doubt for H'Cup semi-final though and word in camp is it a loosing battle.
Nick Williams also has picked up a nasty groin strain which is a pity as he really has been hitting form.

On plus side Denis Hurley returns for Ospreys squad hopefully we will get positive updates on injuries.

I'm O negative, is that Irish enough for you or do I have do get out of the country because some British people also have it?

I agree club rugby is supposed to be for anyone, not just those who are the same nationality as the club. it would be crap if only french players could play for french clubs and irish players for irish clubs etc.

Roscommon guy I think even you would admit the argument you making is stupid like also if you think about it
- Keith Gleeson was born in Dublin but raised is Austrailia
- Jamie Heaslip is Israel
- ROG is USA
- Rob Henderson was English and Kevin Maggs
I sure there oyher examples too but point is if they're entitled to be citizens of Ireland they're entitled to wear our shirt if they are deserving.
