Confirmed Transfers

Tigers website says personal reasons after only 10 weeks. Hopefully nothing serious. Better not be for another job because that would be taking the ****.

Three year extension for EvR, very happy with that

How's your EQP ratio looking?

Genuine question, I'm not having a dig.
I think we should be fine. We do still have a decent group of EQ's. I think this season is about staying up and getting whoever we can in who are better than we had. They're all only being signed until summer 2026.

From there the ones who impress will probably be kept on whilst we look for more EQ players and really push the academy to produce more.

Jonathan Joseph has officially retired - had a great career, always been a fan

Wonder if he might be announced as Bath's new attack coach? His retirement message says he considers Bath home, he said he's looking forward to giving back to the sport, and he's been doing some coaching recently (think with England u20s, was it?)

I thought he'd retired already. Amazing player in his pomp, such a silky runner.

At his peak he was some player!

Apparently he had a medical with us yesterday so looks like he'll be joining on a 1 year deal aswell
Just confirmed

Decent signing imo, as a 1yr thing while Newcastle get settled under Redbull

Not sure how his body's going to handle playing on plastic every week, though

Yeah noticed it was confirmed. End of the season job again.

You know what, if he helps the kids out for a season, instills a bit of his aggressiveness and will to win in the kids, and we can roll him out for the odd game when we're short on numbers then it might well work. I cant see him being expensive.

****, really? Why? He's not a miracle worker, but as a coach for an interim rebuild I can't think of anyone better.

He probably bumped heads (as he is wont to do) with the new moneymen if I had to guess.
No idea at all. Im furious. The guy deserved the chance to work on what he started. Hes brought desire and honesty since he came here. How can he be expected to change things so quickly.

Whilst its sad to see Dimes go (if true) I can understand this decision by the club. We need to be signing the players for next season now, so Red Bull will want their new man whoever that will be in place to be making the choices.

100%. Can’t say I warm to him as a bloke, but he’s good at what he does and deserved better.

That's pretty crazy to do one week into the season - I know they mention he was informed today but it kind of makes me wonder whether this was already agreed behind the scenes so he can do all the media work the last few weeks and then the interim steps up without having to answer all the takeover questions

Internal promotion and the hope that Townsend takes on an advisory role part time doesn't really feel like the setup to grow this season - if their plan is to bring in the biggest name they can land for next season surely you leave Dimes in place for this one just to keep the ship steady?
