I’m off to England’s next game and can’t decide what’s better a more classic England rugby shirt like this one or the official Nike kit? Any thoughts? :)

I really like the new Nike one. I think last seasons was my favourite ever england kit though! Get that it wont be expensive now and its a good cross between classic and modern!

My advice, the modern one but Wales have a far better kit anyway!

clearly some kind of wind up. I swear a one point one of the presenters on tv described it as quite nancy boy?
Your kit when you won the grandslam last was the nicest

At first I hated the new Wales kit but it has slightly grown on me now that Henson isn't in it.

I hate the whole classic vs modern kit debate.
I hate it because all the teams i support are releasing all their kits in this horrible tight fitting polyester crap. Now, i'm not one to shy away from showing off my body, i work out a lot and i have the body type that ideally fits those shirts, but not many do. And just because i can fit into these new kits doesn't mean i want to. Why? Because they are ridiculously uncomfortable!
Why can't they have a nice cotton version of the shirts they release?

I know this wasn't the real question, but i do get angry.
Anyway, i like england's new kit.

I could have replied to this topic in one sentence AND in an ideal world where i was given the option of having a cotton welsh or ospreys top...i would have.

RC thats why most clubs offer 2 versions, well the WRU does and the England shirts do. Replicas and Players / Special / insert naming scheme here.. Replica are loose fitting ones, basically for the average fan. Players / whatever the club calls them are ment for those who like to show off their body in skin tight shirts... or those who would use them to play / train in.

Im basing this off my replica Wales shirt I got in the JJB sales btw :p as for tight ones being uncomfy I dont mind em, good for playing in but can be a bit tight depending on size of the shirt ofc.

Yeah, but have you realised how the replica jersey for Wales is also a horrible polyester material?
It's looser fitting than the players one, i grant you, but it's still a horrible material and not comfortable to wear.
But i agree with you on playing in them: I'm not one to go about running through people on the pitch, but it's hard to run around them when your shirt is flapping about 3 sizes too big and that's the only thing they can grab. Tight shirts are ideal for me then.

It's not bad but it aint nice i can agree overall the polyester materials dont really bother me
