Chiefs waiting for word on Muliaina

well looks like nainai is goign to get his chance. shame for mills. But injuries this time of year can work out well in the long run as far as teh all blacks are concerned.

I'm also interested in the status of Kahui, I heard before the comp started that he was due back for about round 4 he will be a big boost for the chiefs.

Kahui played for the Chiefs development team last week (against Tonga A), and looks like he is captaining the side against Fiji A tomorrow night (http://www.bayofplentytimes.co.nz/sport/news/mather-puts-debut-on-hold-after-grim-fortnight/3943533/). I'd assume he won't backup and play in the weekend, so it might not be until next week that we see him starting again for the Chiefs.

Yeah, not too good for Mils, but Nanai Williams is pretty exciting and Messam is a strong leader... The cake tin will be a hard game regardless of who they have playing! I heard an interview with Stephen Donald saying that the Chiefs haven't won there for as long as he's been with them (about 5-6 years)

Nanai Williams scored a great try for the Chiefs agains the Canes last season, and he doesn't seem like the type of player to choke too easily, so I wouldn't be too worried if i werea Chiefs fan. As a Canes fan however...

Sad to hear about Mils. But the team played well with Nanai Williams last weekend.
Should be possible to squeeze in a second victory.

bugger, minor spinal fracture... That's not cool, they can be a little unpredictable as far as I know.
