Chiefs team announced to play western force on good friday

Gah! Chiefs drive over the ball, then Force players blatantly come in the side to retain possession - overlooked by the ref. A minute later, in the same phase of play, Chiefs get penalised for coming in the side. He's such a dope.

Poor game by the Chiefs this week. Lots of turn overs, penalties, selfish play, unstructured.... but at the end a win.

Chiefs squeak through 12 - 20, they would've been kicking themselves had they lost that. This referee is not good enough to be controlling games at this level.

Entertaining game any chance of Masaga been involved with N.Z. one of the most dangerous wingers in the Super 15.

Was a good contest to watch, two very different styles. In the end Chiefs were just better in a few aspects and defended too well for us to cross. I suppose we shouldn't expect to beat the top team with a first-gamer fly half. Anyway, well done Chiefs.

Also I don't know how he looked on TV, but Masaga was a class above everyone else on that field tonight.

I hate going on at refs, glad someone else made the first move. :)

I remember this incedent, Messam made a huge tackle and the chiefs had driven over the ball force player goes right in the side and wins the ball - ref ignores in then soo after it's the chiefs being penalised for goin in the side and it did not seem to be as clear or blatant as the force offence. Seemed to me to be happening all night, chiefs looked frustrated but stuck to the task.

Refing at the scrum was woeful, chiefs dominated but the force were awarded all the penalties at the scrum. Then it looked like the chiefs decided to forfit their clear dominance at the scrum and stop pushing in the hope they would not give penalties away.

Sure scrums are hard to call but when a team is dominant that should help the ref because why would a dominant scrum try and disrupt scrums or bring them down?
