championship numbers?

read an article today, that the championship may struggle in future because of crowds. the list showed only bristol really doing ok, does anyone think the league could pick up in the future?

don't think so, outside of the rugby towns. The Premiership's becoming more and more standalone, and premiership clubs face an uphill battle recruiting fans. English rugby will become better supported at all levels if the national team starts seriously performing (like 2000-3), simply because it's only they who ever move onto the front pages.
