Champions Cup Sponsor?

It would be interesting to get a comparison of the viewing figures for pro 12 games and AP games. I have no doubt the AP has a larger market share, but should Sky be able to rouse up interest amongst the casual fan in the Pro 12, particularly in Wales where there's reasonable room for growth, the could significantly narrow the gap.

Anyway, the whole sponsorship situation with the ECC is a bit of a farce to this point. They have one of the five chief sponsors they planned on having in place so far then? Hardly showing the business nuance they seemed to think the ERC and the unions were lacking with the Heineken Cup.

While it's rather entertaining to see the PRL/LNR venture faltering from an Irish perspective, this isn't good for the European game.

I think they're waiting for a court case between Bein sport and Canal + to be resolved in France regarding coverage of the Top 14. That seems to be the hold up at the moment.

It would be comical if the PRL fell below their target.

It seems BT can't cover games in certain stadiums with their own gear and theres an issue there. Sky I'm sure must be laughing but I know Thomond Park on list of 1's that can't be covered at the moment. What worries me is I never remember this amount of hassle with ERC and well any potential sponsors wouldn't be exactly bouncing to be involved.
Remember there's no main sponsor so realistically your 1 of a bunch and in a mess be it between TV stations or unions themselves. Also interesting thing I heard is Pro 12 teams will earn more money reaching the knockout stages of league than they would reaching QF of Europe

Canal have the TOP 14 this season but the ECC is another issue still to be resolved.
