Champions Cup - Pool 2, Round 3 (Castres, Harlequins, Leinster, Wasps)

Same as 10.2a & c covers the repeat infringements/deliberate foul play etc for a PT, law used at collapsed scrums/mauls; also covers if some deliberately throws ball out play to stop a try probably being scored. Must be the ref in me coming out LOL.
IMHO right call, advisor tells me in this type of situation, if you remove the infringing player what happens in this case take out Sivivartu and what happens try so correct call. If another defender behind Sivivartu then pen and yellow card. If that makes sense.

Can we all watch the language? A swear now and then happens, but some members are doing it every post and trying to get around the star-machine. It's not that we are trying to be Mary Whitehouse clones, but it doesn't look great when our recent post display is full of expletives.

Some have been warned before, so consider this the final word.

We really need Kirchner. The Mary's lads have been awful but I wouldn't take McGrath off.

Sums up our season, absolute aimless stuff.

Rob has been awful, get him out

WHY ARE WE RUNNING ACORSS THE PITCH!!

Great runaway try. The Quins squad are now having a huddle.

But either these rugby players are all very tall, or the Quins support staff are on loan from Willy Wonka

Points, get it deep, get them a yellow, win the game.

Garces is pathetic.

Terrible performance by Leinster, Harlequins and most of all Jerome Garces. Quine value for their win, the sooner O'Connor goes the better.

Deserved win from Quins. They had the intensity Leinster, Heaslip aside, didnt.

Good win for Quins, Marler, Robshaw and Easter were all great. I hope for Quins sake though that Evans injury isn't serious.

What an absolute howler. At no point did we look in any way deserving of the win. O'Connor out, he's running the team into the ground.

Leinster were pathetic.
Again.

Matt O'Connor: "It's about creating a competitive advantage to win games. You've got to score tries to win games, we did that at Leicester. We've got a Test pack on Sunday, what's your competitive advantage? That's the game."

If the competitive advantage was to be achieved in the pack, O'Connor failed miserably at drilling his side. If the objective was to score tries, O'Connor failed miserably at drilling his side.

I see lynam1104 has Kidneyclock.net in his signature. Perhaps it's time to set up the MOCclock. The team are going backwards at a rate of knots.

EDIT - Well done Quins. They thoroughly deserved the win and never looked like giving up a try. Had Nick Evans stayed on the field I'm sure they'd have won by more.

EDIT 2 - Why didn't Quins try work a drop goal at the end and deny Leinster a BP?

I'm part of the MOC camp but this was nothing to do with him in so far as tactics, its simply the players not turning up. However that might be because they don't believe in what they're supposed to be doing. One thing that I think MOC can be balmed for is the total decline in skills of the Leinster players in his reign is absolutely shocking.
