Champions Cup 24/25 - Round 1

That's Insane he seemed out of it when he was down, not that I think it would have changed the outcome of the game or anything but he should have at very least been checked.

On another note Is that what Sharks attack is always like? I thought physically we matched up well tbf but their attack is just insane.
I am firmly in the Ali out camp now. Aside from a lack of leadership, our attack looks toothless and he's rubbed up enough players the wrong way through past seasons

JvP looks furious, though I suppose he did just watch a prop offload directly to one of the fastest players in the sport

Is Willis the worst case of an international team letting a player slip through the cracks since Ireland let Trevor Brennan go to Toulouse?

Fair, thought it was a case of not getting opportunities. No idea of the specifics.
Nah, he was a starter during his final 6N (apart from round 1, which he missed because he missed the initial training camp weeks because Toulouse wouldn't release him - which they didn't have to, but is one of the reasons why I'm firmly behind the decision to pick Prem only players)

Had it totally wrong so. Unfortunate for England but hard to say either side are in the wrong. Tough to give up being a starter and massive point of difference in Toulouse I can only imagine.

Yeah:
Starter, captain and more money than any Prem side could come close to matching - not easy to turn your nose up to especially considering he's a young family and will be very aware of how short a career can be after his run of consecutive almost-career-ending-injuries
Might be different if he was uncapped but he's got 14 England caps and been to a RWC, which will have scratched the itch a bit

Toulouse won't break a sweat in this comp for a few months. Fans aren't even that into this they're winning so handily.

Trevor Brennan probably the happiest man in the Ernest Wallon right now. Doubt he hates a club more than Ulster.
