Champions Cup 2024 / 25 - Round of 16

Bloody hell, thought Munster had ****** it when they gave away the penalty in the LR 22 after somehow regaining possession
Big balls of the ref not to give that high penalty at the end (absolutely the right call)

Hell of a game!

That result has got to impact Smiths Lions stock. Ouch.
Does it? Not sure any 10 in the world would have done better in a team performance that abysmal.

It's a low bar, but even by the end of the game he was the only Quins player that looked remotely like he was trying

That try the epitome of "if you don't know what you're doing, how could the opposition?"

So much pressure absorbed by Tigers, they had to crack eventually

Why the **** are sending b/c teams to a European game? Makes no sense to me
Yeah, I agree - especially with how well they did before fatigue set in and the replacements became an issue

I didn't read the article but did see that McCall said in the press that because of where they are in the Prem table they were prioritising the premiership over it - guessing injuries and international rest meant they had to make a choice between focusing on last week or this week (resting players not an option for their home game at Spurs stadium) and chose last week to go full strength
