Apologies for anyone reading this, all the boys are at the game, im sat at home with the kids, i needed to rant to not make a noise and wake the baby...

I dont want to say Cardiff didnt deserve to win that, but if i was the Ulster coach i would take that personally!

Ulster had too much power, and too good a kicking game first half to not be dominant, they came out 2nd half and didnexaclty what they should have from minite 1, kick, pressure, continue. Subs couldnt up the tempo, but Ulster should have run away with that at 12-26 on 50 mins.

Theres a lot of Ulster players who are weapons, but not rounded, both wingers are big strong and physical, but have no feel for the game. Both centres the same. All 4 seemed to want to be the big boy, none wanted to be less selfish.

ULsters front row wont want to rewatch this, 5-1 freekicks at scrum time, they should prob have been penalties in reality.

ULster didnt deserve to lose that based on player dominance, but weve seen the Cardiff gameplan exploit teams late on, and well as much as Ulster beat themselves first half, they were hanging on last 10 mins

I dont hate Cardiff, i just get frustrated that my money is wasted season on season. The fan experience isnt very good.

No pre game entertainment mostly, no away fan travel options, most games 8pm friday saturday nights (meaning cant take the kids mostly), no away fans, the club is run poorly (obviously) with no real ambition, or attempt to engage the city. Rugby is basically dead in Cardiff, and to top it all off its not like the Arms park creates much of an atmosphere.

The 2 stand out games atmosphere wise, of recent years were Tolouse and Quins when we played kids and semi pros.

I never believed in a million years Sheedy would hit that kick, hes so poor at goal, i think hes prob in the bottom 4 or 5 kickers % at goal this season, Cardiff certainly are down there with Zebre and Dragons maybe Connaugh, i cant remember what game it was thos season but he was 0-5 at goal, Edinburgh? Zebre? Not sure, but i dont dislike him, and would have selected him above Evans.

Im not even the negative nancy in my section, far from it lol.
