Challenge Cup 2007

Pure skill, from coming on after a sin bin, and first touch/kick set up a try. We just never had im covered :(

Got around to watching the Saints-Bulls game last night.
There were a couple of Saints tries in there that would have made anyone sit up and gawp - they were truly fantastic displays of fast-flowing rugby. Bradford, once again, were relying too much on the physical aspect and not playin to their strengths (deacon) and the Saints defence snuffed out a lot of their attacks.
That Tupou (sp?) is terribly over rated. A try a game, maybe...but the guy is proving he is strictly one dimensional, he gives them nothing on the field except for a bit of impotence about 5 metres out from the try line. I only saw good piece of defending from him, the rest he just f***ed up crucial chances for the Bulls.
Roby caused havoc as soon as he came on, which resulted in an amzing try consisting of amazing handling - i love this guy more everytime i see him play.

Sure but you can't take anything away from the Catalans. We were great the first 20 minites

you can't , they played bloody good rugby. Cannot fault Les Cats. In general the result is good for Rugby League and especially french Rugby League. Case now for another French team in SL.

I think this time in 2 years the Super League will be a 14 team league and Toulouse and Celtic Crusaders will have franchises.

i think tupou has potential, he's extremely effective crashing over from short distances - one on one he's almost impossible to handle in the corners - having said that he could add some more dimensions to his play definitely no Volcano yet...

as far as Toulouse go you'd have to say they're almost ready with some of the performances and crowds they've pulled off in the CC the last few years

great performance by Saints - they showed some fantastic skills the passing was excellent at times...Longy's drop goal was outrageous the way he slotted it under pressure

i guess he's scored several good tries so far - but it seems he could get involved in the play a bit more at times

Les seemed to have a tremendous workrate didn't just sit on the wing

i saw the Wigan V Catalans game on the weekend and really enjoyed it. it was the first time i actually saw that Catalan side. they actually have afew good footballers.

will definately have to get up and 1:30AM to watch the final. reminds me alot of when the warriors made the NRL GF. the fate of the whole team rested on stacey jones shoulders....

25th August mate.

I suggest you quickly speak to Charlie. He wanted to go. I have had to act NOW and buy my ticket because we only got 10,000, but you should be able to buy them through the RFL.

Cmon you dragons.

its good to see it will sell out still.

heres a question for you lot...

Do Catalans have a hope in hell of beating St's??

im going to say yes but thats only because ive seen Stacey Jones pull off some miracles with the warriors and the kiwis....

this is it Dan.... the battle for TRF Rugby league bragging rights... Sean Long V Stacey Jones....

watched a full game of league last night St Helens vs Bradord in the challenge cup

i have to admit i really enjoyed it!!

hm i reckon if i played league i'd play the number 7 shirt, half back or somethin like that?

i like how he's got a good amount of time and runs the show sorta like the union fly half!

yeah the 7 is like a QB in the NFL. runs the show but needs protection from his bigboys upfront
