Eff me, Shingler has pace.
80m+ intercept try. Poor lad looked knackered when it touched down though.
6-13 to the Scarlets now. Priestland injured, kicks being missed everywhere.

Why can't a single Welshman kick goals? The exception being Dan Biggar, who has the all-round game of an eel. Still, Steveo knocked it over when it mattered (Unlike in the World Cup), so at least one Welsh side is into the quater-final of something. Scarlets looked like they were tearing Castres apart for the first half hour, then suddenly stopped as they couldn't seem to finish the chances they created.

Nipper isn't a bad kicker, but I totally agree with what you are saying.
With the injuries we have, I wonder if Wee Steven McShingler will come back to us.

Aaron had a good game, I'd start him if Lydiate is injured. Very impressed with Gilbert as well. Ben who? ;)

Here's the bad news: Matt Gilbert was also born and bred in England. That said, he's deaf, so I'm sure if we just ask him for consent verbally, he'll convert to the way of the Taff quicker than, well, Aaron Shingler. I was impressed by him again this evening. Should really be in the squad.

Yep, he's played for England Deaf as well. I wonder if that is their 'second team'? :p
Kieran Murphy has been pretty good when he has played.

Shingler said to himself 'I am going all the way' and the effort showed in his face over the last 20 metres. So many back row forwards would have mentally given up at the half way line and slowed for support, especially on a softish surface not ideal for running, not Aaron. One of the great tries in my view.

Just gets better and better. Perhaps the Scarlets' first choice 6?
